Nicole moved to Houston in July 2017 from Alberta, Canada, along with her husband, three children, and Bernese Mountain Dog! She brings 15 years of experience as an award-winning pediatric school-based Canadian Occupational Therapist to serve the children and parents of Houston and surrounding cities.

Nicole has worked with children of all ages and abilities and their families, teachers, aides, and other stakeholders. She has served many children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, Global Developmental Delay, Anxiety Disorder, ADHD, sensory processing differences, and other concerns. Nicole cares less about the label and more about the child. She believes in servant leadership, interdisciplinary collaboration, and client-centered service. Nicole is trained in evidence-based adult coaching and whole bunch of other intervention approaches including Zones of Regulation, We Thinkers/Social Thinking, PECS, SCERTS, Floor Time, ABA, Handwriting Without Tears, Keyboarding Without Tears, Loops & Other Groups, and more . She has trained teachers, school staff and parents as well as delivered presentations to educational and therapy conferences.
